Continuing your journey throughout Virginia Beach, be sure to stop in at New Realm Brewing Co for some great locally crafted brews. Many people stop in there because they want to sample some interesting local flavors and tastes. However, if you are in more of a coffee mood, you can always try 17 Hands Coffee/Robin Simmons Bakery for some of the best coffee and pastries you have ever had! 
 
Want to have a full meal of a juicy burger and fries? Mooyah has you covered on that account. Alternatively, you can go for the high-class vibe of Steinhilber's, where you can enjoy full-course meals and cocktails on a heated patio by the water. For seafood and a view, enjoy Waterman's Surfside Grille, a great place to try out the latest catch and enjoy views of the ocean at the same time. 
 
If you’re looking for family fun, try D-Bat in Virginia Beach. This is a recreational center where you can try your hand at swinging a baseball bat at some pitches. After that, you can end your day at iFly Virginia Beach, where you can experience what it feels like to skydive without actually skydiving. Their high-powered wind machines allow you to experience the fun and thrill of a skydiving jump in a controlled environment. 
 

Things to Do

You are never at a loss for things to do in this community and you certainly don't want to miss out on some of the highlights. The East Coast Surfing Championships is a great event to get started. See the top surfers compete head-to-head to win the crown of top surfer. Don't forget to take a moment to stop by the Boardwalk Art Show while you are at it! This art show spans the entire Virginia Beach boardwalk and includes the work of the finest local and national artists.
There are many live performances at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater to enjoy as well. Also be sure to check out the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Museum to learn more about ocean life or visit the Military Aviation Museum for military history. Don’t miss the festival season at the oceanfront with events such as the Neptune Festival, Virginia Arts Festival, and the Pungo Strawberry Festival.
 
If you’re ready to explore the outdoors, visit First Landing State Park to get some exercise and enjoy the sunshine and nature. Additionally, the area is a hot spot for baseball and softball. There are several local baseball leagues to explore, including Bayside PONY baseball, Kempsville PONY Baseball, and several other leagues. Volunteer with a team or sign up the kids to play. And don’t forget the annual  North American Sand Soccer Championships, beach volleyball tournaments, and multiple running events by J&A Racing.
